'Hi Res' (Hi Resolution) - is a digital version of your image. (Not the print on paper).

Your hi-res file gives you endless possibilities to use the photo. For example, sharing, emailing to family and friends, making holiday cards, photos books and many other things including making prints and posters from your photos.

The quality of the image is determined by the original equipment that we use to take the photos, the professional cameras and lenses. The source files of your photos are normally 10-21Mb RAW files and we downsize them to make your quality hi-res jpeg. For example, hi-res resolution is 1600x2400, our Apple 30" monitor is resolution is 1600x2560 and SmugMug's requirement for a 24"x36" poster print is 1440x2160.
